Free shuttles connect the two terminals, daily 24 hours.

Airport information desks (tel: 412 472 3525) can be found in the central areas of both terminals; blue courtesy information phones are located throughout. The Travelers Aid desk, located on the baggage reclaim level of the Landside Terminal, offers general travel assistance and information in emergency situations (tel: 412 472 3599).

Money and communications: ATMs are located throughout the airport, and bureaux de change are situated in both terminals. Eating and drinking: A variety of restaurants, bars, fast-food outlets and cafés are available at the airport. Shopping: Various shops are located in the Airside Terminal Airmall. There are also gift shops in the Landside Terminal and on concourses A, B and D. Luggage: A lost property service is available (tel: 412 472 3500). Trolleys are available. Other facilities: Emergency medical services and AED units (defibrillators) are available. There is also a chapel.

There are disabled toilets, ramps and lifts, and TDD telephones; assistance is available on request. Passengers requiring wheelchairs and special assistance should inform their airline prior to travel. Disabled car parking is available in all car parks.

The Landside Terminal has a Travelex centre (tel: 412 472 5151) offering fax and photocopy facilities, notary and financial services (bureau de change, travellers’ cheques and cash wiring services). US Airways Club provides conference rooms for its members, with three rooms in the Airside Terminal (tel: 412 472 1970), and two rooms on concourse B (tel: 412 472 1990). The Hyatt Regency Pittsburgh International Airport (tel: 724 899 1234) offers business and conference facilities including high speed Internet access, private workstations, video editing, CD burning, multiple printing capabilities and presentation media; the hotel is directly connected to the airport via enclosed moving walkways.

All major hire companies, including Alamo, Avis, Budget, Dollar, Enterprise, Hertz, National and Thrifty, are represented. Desks are located on the baggage claim level of the Landside Terminal. Pick-up and drop-off areas are on the lower level of the packaging garage, a short walk from the Landside Terminal.

The airport has short-, long-term and extended-stay parking facilities. Short- and long-term parking areas are connected to the Landside Terminal by an enclosed walkway. The extended-stay car park has a free shuttle bus, which runs continuously to/from the Landside Terminal. Call for parking information (tel: 412 472 5050).

From central Pittsburgh, drive through Fort Pitt tunnels then take Route 279 South and follow airport signs. The airport access road is at Route 60, junction 6. Route 60 is also called Route 22/30 for part of its length.

Road: Taxi: Public transport and taxis can be found on the baggage reclaim level of the Landside Terminal. Taxi companies at the airport are Checker Cab (tel: 412 381 5600) and Yellow Cab Co of Pittsburgh (tel: 412 321 8100). The airport has many limousines and shuttle services to nearby centres. Bus: The 28X Airport Flyer bus runs to central Pittsburgh and Oakland. Beaver County Transit (BCTA) route 6 serves Rochester and Robinson.

The Hyatt Regency Pittsburgh International Airport (tel: 724 899 1234) is located in the airport grounds. Hotels nearby include the Holiday Inn Pittsburgh Airport (tel: 412 262 3600), Pittsburgh Airport Wyndham (tel: 412 788 8800), Hampton Inn Airport (tel: 412 264 0020) and the Sleep Inn Pittsburgh Airport (tel: 412 859 4000). These and many other hotels run courtesy shuttle services to/from the airport.
