The Adelaide Hills, 25-minutes by car from the city centre, offers historic villages, orchards, vineyards, winding roads and wildlife parks. Located approximately 45km (28 miles) northeast of Adelaide, the Barossa Valley is one of Australia’s most well-regarded wine regions. Many of the 50 or so wineries offer cellar-door tastings.
