The restaurants below have been classed into four different pricing categories: $$$$ (over 225 HRK) $$$ (125 HRK to 225 HRK) $$ (100 HRK to 125 HRK) $ (up to 100HRK) These prices are for a three course meal for one, including half a litre of wine or equivalent. Tax and tip included.
Atlas Club Nautika The late Pope John Paul II was said to have greatly enjoyed his meal here and most people do. Outdoor terrace has good views of the old city walls. Seafood dominates.

Taverna Rustica Change is afoot at the Hotel Excelsior with a South African chef brought in to brighten up this romantic eatery and add a dash of style to the cooking. Lobster fresh from the tank.

Lokanda Peskarija Out of season easily the most popular restaurant in town and equally buzzing with its terrace in summer - the bar downstairs has the same simple seafood menu as the tables upstairs, and the various dishes come served in pots.

Kamenice They don’t come any more cheap and cheerful than this busy little place on Gunduliæeva Poljana - the name means ‘oyster’ and their oysters are good value, while the seafood risotto comes in generous portions.
