Convention and meeting venues
Geneva has over 200 meeting halls with capacities ranging from 20-6500. All major conference sites are equipped with simultaneous translation and multi-lingual interpreters are readily available. Technological innovations, such as remote translation and text-processing, allow conference services to extend beyond Geneva-based meetings.

Ten minutes from the city centre, and directly connected to the airport and railway station, Palexpo has a large conference centre (eight rooms with a combined seating space of over 3000); exhibition halls, four large restaurants (with a total of 2000 seats), and the nearby nineteenth-century Villa Sarasin with its personalised reception rooms, VIP bar, restaurant and garden.

The centre is equipped with satellite video-conference capability, audiovisual facilities in the offices and simultaneous interpretation. There are four main conference rooms equipped with interpreters’ booths and nine committee rooms.

The Grand-Casino theatre, situated underneath the Noga Hilton Hotel, seats 1600. Facilities include a stage area, a complex lighting system with 240 circuits controlling over 150 projectors, high-quality sound equipment and simultaneous translation.

Expo Lac is a 5000-sq-metre (53,820 sq ft) congress and exhibition centre on the Rue Plantamour side of the Noga Hilton Hotel. Each of the centre’s three levels can be used separately, allowing it to be adapted to suit a wide range of events.
