Price: $$$$ Pen Club A favourite with the Slovenian literati, this cosy venue has a menu that changes regularly. The décor has a discernible 1970s feel but the food is top class. Reservations essential. Tomaičeva 12 Tel: (01) 251 4160. Price: $$$ Sushimama The only sushi bar in town and worthy of the name, styling itself as ‘Modern Japanese Cooking’. Price: $$$ Pizzeria Trta Worth the walk away from the Old Town along the Ljubljanica’s right bank; an excellent value pizzeria that boasts a rustic interior and tasty thin crust pizzas.
