Description Situated above the River Conwy close to Colwyn Bay, Bodnant Garden contains plants and trees from all over the world and is regarded as one of the most beautiful gardens in the UK. Measuring 32.4 hectares (80 acres), the garden is made up of two sections. The first is set around Bodnant Hall and is made up of terraced gardens fringed by trees. The second part is lower down and known as the ‘Dell’ and contains a spectacularly wild garden in the valley of the River Hiraethlyn. Visitors are able to explore the grounds at their leisure or guided tours are available. The gardens close from early November to early March each year.
