Oatlands Craft Centre

Description
The Oatlands Craft Centre in the north of the island provides visitors with the opportunity to watch local craftspeople at work at a number of different traditional industries. Guernsey is famed for its dairy herds and visitors are able to see traditional cheese makers at work and sample some of the famous products. There are also some traditional brick kilns that were built in 1892 and visitors can see how these craftspeople once worked. Other craftspeople exhibiting their work at the centre include glass blowers, potters and silversmiths. There’s also a small farm at the centre where visitors can see how a traditional farm is managed and run. There’s a children’s play area too that's staffed by professional carers.
