Passports
Valid passport required by all except:
(a) 1. nationals of Canada and the USA with valid proof of identity and holding return/onward tickets (for stays of up to six months);
(b) nationals of OECS countries (Antigua & Barbuda, Dominica, Grenada, St Kitts & Nevis and St Vincent & the Grenadines) with a valid National Identity Card;
(c) expired passports accompanied by photo ID issued to nationals of Antigua & Barbuda, Dominica, Grenada, St Kitts & Nevis, St Lucia, St Vincent & the Grenadines and the UK (regardless of endorsement in passport).


Visas
Required by all except the following:
(a) nationals of Antigua & Barbuda, Dominica, Grenada, St Kitts & Nevis and St Vincent & the Grenadines, at the discretion of the immigration officer upon arrival;
(b) 1. nationals of Canada, Hong Kong (SAR), the UK and USA for a maximum stay of six weeks;
(c) 2. nationals of EU countries for stays of up to 28 days except nationals of Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania and Slovak Republic who do require a visa;
(d) nationals of American Samoa, Andorra, Argentina, Bermuda, Botswana, Brazil, Brunei, Caricom Member States (except Haiti who have temporary visa restrictions), Cayman Islands, Chile, Costa Rica, Cuba, Ecuador, El Salvador, Faroe Island, French Guiana, French Polynesia, Gibralter, Greenland, Guadeloupe, Guam, Honduras, Israel, Ivory Coast, Korea, Lesotho, Malaysia, Marshall Islands, Martinique, Mayotte, Micronesia, Monaco, Netherlands Antilles, New Caledonia, New Zealand, Northern Marina Islands, Norway, Peru, Reunion, St Helena, St Martin, St Marteen, St Pierre & Miquelon, San Marino, Switzerland, Taiwan, Turks & Caicos Islands, Venezuela and Western Samoa;
(e) those continuing their journey to next destination by the same aircraft without leaving the airport.


Types of visa and cost
Single-entry Tourist. Cost depends on nationality of the applicant, but is usually about £35. Postal applications must include an additional £5 postage fee.

Validity
Up to six weeks. Extensions to some visas can be made at the Immigration Department in St Lucia.

Application requirements
(a) Valid passport. (b) Completed application form. (c) Passport-size photo. (d) Sufficient funds to cover duration of stay and proof of accommodation. (e) Fee, payable by cash (postal order for postal applications). (f) Valid return or onward ticket.

Working days required
Two to three, depending on nationality of applicant.

Temporary residence
Refer applications or enquiries to Consulate, Embassy or High Commission. Processed through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Castries.
