The following items may be imported into the Marshall Islands by passengers without incurring customs duty:
600 cigarettes or 454g of cigars or tobacco; 2l of alcoholic beverages (alcohol for passengers over 21 years of age only).
Prohibited items
Firearms, ammunition, drugs and pornographic materials are not permitted. Birds, animals, fruit and plants need certification from the Quarantine Division of the Ministry of Resources and Development. Coral, turtle shells and certain other natural resources cannot be exported. Any artefacts or objects of historical value cannot be taken out of the country.
