Hotels
The Vue Pointe is still operating. An 18-room hotel, the Tropical Mansion Suites, is open. There are a small number of bed & breakfast establishments. Some hotels have had to close due to sporadic volcanic activity. Contact Montserrat Tourist Board for more information (see Contact Addresses section).
Self-catering
Villas and apartments are available throughout the island; Montserrat Tourist Board can provide a list. All accommodation bookings must be confirmed with a 20 per cent deposit. A service charge of 10 per cent and a 7 per cent government occupancy tax is added on to all accommodation bills.
