Hotel accommodation is difficult to obtain and reservations for major international hotels should be booked prior to arrival. All reservations should be made well in advance. There are good hotels in Agadez, Ayorou, Maradi, Niamey, La Tapoa and Zinder. There are also ‘Encampments’ in Agadez, Boubon, Namaro and Tillabéri. Local hotels are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
