Duty Free
The following items can be imported into Niue by persons of 18 years of age or older without incurring customs duty:
400 cigarettes or 50 cigars or 500g of tobacco or a combination of each with a maximum weight of 0.5lb; 3.5l of spirits, liquor or wine; other goods to the value of NZ$250.
Restricted imports
Firearms and ammunition are prohibited unless permission is received from the Chief of Police at the Police Department of Niue. A maximum of one of each of the following: radio, cassette player, tape recorder, typewriter, pair of binoculars, photo or video camera.
Restricted exports
Artefacts, coral and valuable shells.
