Currency Netherlands Antilles Guilder or Florin (NAG) = 100 cents. Notes are in denominations of NAG250, 100, 50, 25, 10 and 5. Coins are in denominations of NAG5 and 1 and 50, 25, 10, 5 and 1 cents. The US Dollar is widely accepted. Currency exchange There are three banks on the island. All major currencies can be exchanged. Credit & debit cards MasterCard and Visa are accepted in large establishments. Check with your credit or debit card company for details of merchant acceptability and other services which may be available. Currency restrictions There are no restrictions on the import and export of local or foreign currency, except the import and export of amounts of foreign currency exceeding NAG20,000 must declared.
