Duty-Free
The following items may be imported into Tuvalu by visitors without incurring customs duty:
200 cigarettes or 225g of tobacco or cigars (for all visitors irrespective of age); 1l of spirits and 1l of wine (for visitors aged 18 years and over).
Prohibited items
Pornography, pure alcohol, narcotics, arms and ammunition. All plant and animal material must be declared and quarantined. The following items are duty free but must be declared upon arrival: one pair of binoculars, one still camera and six rolls of unexposed film, one cine camera and 200m of unexposed film, one portable radio, one broadcast receiver, one portable tape recorder, one portable typewriter and a reasonable quantity of sports equipment.
